Why did you decide to undergo Facelift Surgery?

I had been contemplating a facelift for several years. I am a teacher and children notice everything. Lines had started forming around my mouth (I always blamed the "teacher look!") when one of my cute little fourth graders said something to me that I will never forget. He looked up at me with his sparkling eyes and said, "Mrs. Lamb, what are those lines around your mouth? They look like scars!" Needless to say, at that point in time, I started saving up for a facelift.

When I was 40, I went to see Dr. Marvel. I told him how one of my goals had been to get a facelift when the time was right. He looked me right in the eye and said "It is not time yet." I really appreciated his honesty. The wrong doctor might have said, "Ok, give me your money." Instead, Dr. Marvel discouraged me from doing this too soon and told me to come back and see him in about 10 years.

Tell us about your experience with Dr. Marvel and Marvel Cosmetic Surgery.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Marvel. I came to see Melinda, his nurse, and she gave me plenty of information to read and study. At no time did I feel like I was being pushed into something that I wasn't ready for. In fact, I went to see both Melinda and Dr. Marvel a couple more times before I made a final decision. They both talked me through the procedure and answered any questions that I had. I was free to email Melinda with any questions that I thought of after our evaluation. Their office staff is professional and kind and the office is clean and inviting. I would highly recommend Dr. Marvel to any of my friends.

How has your life changed after your Facelift?

My whole life changed after my facelift. I now feel like my body and my face are a match! I can now look in the mirror and see the person that I feel like I am. No longer do I see the tired, sallow skin of a former sun worshipper. I see glowing, fresh skin and a face that I no longer want to hide. I just want everyone to know what Dr. Marvel has done for me. I will never forget his kindness and professionalism.
